This plugin is for adding additional product features to idempiere.
What is a supplemental product?
A supplementary product is a product that is added to a main product to make it complete.
Let’s say you need to sell a bottle of milk, but you know the milk bottle is a product and the empty bottle is another product and the customer has to pay for both. Then the empty bottle is the additional product to the milk bottle. The first cannot be sold without the second.
This feature can also be used to set up promotions or kits. If you have a promotion like when someone buys 20 bottles of milk you get a free glass. The cup is the additional product and will be added by default.
This feature adds:
Two fields on the Related tab in the product window: UOM and Qty.
A field on the sales order line and purchase order: Master order line.
A field in the (customer) / (seller) invoice line: Master Invoice Line.
