Kanban is a Lean Production technique that makes the Pull Flow of materials possible. Kan (看) means “visual”, Ban (板) means “signal”. The kanban is in fact based on physical tags that allow the production, purchase or handling of materials. This plugin extends iDempiere with a new feature to implement Kanban Boards The Kanban Board shows you an overview of the process you want.
You can define the states of a process based on a list or a column, you can move a card from one state to another by dragging it.
You can sort the cards by priority, see the cards of different colors according to their priority value.
Manage who can interact with the card and who can’t. set the information you want to see in each tab.
Use the SQL Queue field to set a rule that sends each matching document to a queue until the condition is resolved.

Types of kanban
Kanbans can consent to the production, purchase or handling of materials. The kanban, however, can be divided into several types that must be applied depending on the context of use. For a given component, a number of containers with a predefined quantity of pieces is foreseen and a kanban for restoration is associated with each container. When a container is emptied, the associated kanban acts as a recovery order for the supplier.
