Plugin: woocommerce

Physical or digital. Whatever you may think of selling, WooCommerce is flexible enough to allow it. Whether they are clothing products in all their colors and sizes, building material or food. WooCommerce is used all over the world.

Functionality

The basic premise is to have a one-way information update from WooCommerce to iDempiere (ERP)

After a sales order has been completed on WooCommerce, it will be transmitted to the ERP.

We use the mixed POS payment functionality in iDempiere (contributed by GlobalQSS) to generate a payment.

Once the sales order (SO) has been successfully synchronized with the ERP. The associated invoice, payment, shipping, and assignment are generated and completed.

The sales order document number will be the WooCommerce order number.

The assumption is that the ERP will be the ‘Master’ for the products. If a line has a product not recognized by the ERP, the default one will be used, in the WooCommerce Default window, we believe that inventory management is better performed on the ERP.

If a Business Partner (BP) is used for e-commerce selling and does not exist in the ERP, a BP will be created using the e-commerce address and contact details. The default values, as set in the WooCommerce Defaults window, will be used if this information is not available.

Extensions

Extensions are what makes this plugin so flexible and easy to adapt. Similar to WordPress plugins, you can install them from the archive.

You can improve your store, add other payment and shipping methods, integrate tracking solutions and synchronize WooCommerce with third party services.
